Flying Barrel Of Monkeys

It’s Vacation Bible School week. Or “Bye Bye” school as MonkeyBoy calls it. MonkeyMan couldn’t figure out what MonkeyBoy was saying at first, and thought maybe I’d reached the end of my rope and was telling MonkeyBoy I was going to send him away to boarding school.

I’m teaching crafts and directing and producing a video project each night at Bible School so MonkeyBoy attended his first class solo today. He did great! He spent the whole ride home telling me about “Burning bush. Hot!” The grand finale of the evening was cooking s’mores over a real campfire. I’m not sure we needed the fire though, since it was 105 degrees out today and most of the chocolate was pre-melted by the time the marshmallows were toasted.
