Flying Barrel Of Monkeys

The boy is tired. But he won’t nap. I still enforce “quiet time”, especially this week because I am exhausted and want to lie down for a bit. Yesterday during “quiet time”, MonkeyBoy lined up all his books in a row. He was so proud.

Today, he refused to nap at all. When I finally let him out, he caused much havoc until he got sent back to his room for a time out. Five minutes later, I went to check on him and he was fast asleep. Note the dog booties on his feet from his sled dog puppy.

I checked on him again about 30 minutes later and the booties were on his bed, and he was fast asleep standing up next to the bed. I didn’t risk waking him by taking a picture of that, but it was awfully cute.
