The tree has been taken down and chopped up for recycling. As I packed away ornaments, I had to snap a few of this year’s additions to the tree. MonkeyBoy made these at preschool – aren’t they precious?

One of my friends did a Christmas craft countdown on her blog this month, showcasing her homemade holiday collection each day in December. I think I might have to do that next year with our ornaments. Each one tells a story and it would be nice to record that story. It was so much fun to put up decorations this year, more so than in past years. Maybe I’ll even leave them up longer than a week and a half next time.
