Flying Barrel Of Monkeys

MonkeyBoy is feeling under the weather today. Yesterday he spent the afternoon chasing cats at his uncle’s while the men watched football, so we aren’t sure if he’s gained a cat allergy or just come down with his first cold of the season. There’s stuff going around, so I wouldn’t be too surprised if he caught a cold at school or while we’ve been out and about.

He was up most of the night with sniffles and was tuckered out this afternoon, so he stole a pillow from my bed, pulled his beloved monkey quilt from his room to the living room, and curled up with Mickey in a nest on the floor to watch cartoons. I have no idea why he decided to cuddle up on top of his train tracks instead of on the couch, but it was both cute and pathetic at the same time.

Here’s hoping he sleeps well tonight and the sniffles are gone soon!
